I’m with Ben on this one, and not just b/c I’m not much of a dancer. This is the third dancing flash mob video I’ve seen in recent weeks (the other two were at colleges in my home state), and I find them a bit tiresome. They’re really just planned-but-unannounced dance performances, not so much [...]

This does come off as a bit contrived to me. The beauty of the “dancing flashmob” is that the group doing it is flawless, there is not leader, there is only the group. I’d say the best example I’ve seen of it is what Steppenwolf Theatre Company did for their 2009 – 2010 season (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-PE36fr28U). [...]

You can do animated PNGs, so there’s really no reason to use GIFs at all. Unless you like it kick it 1998 style.

I am speaking this year at that conference. At long last perhaps we will meet face2face:

Also, one day would you consider writing about making a meeting more meaningful and memorable by storyboarding it?

We deployed a social media platform unsuccessfully last year and are in the midst of updating our strategy and technology. Would love to see what the Wave is all about.

From all indications, Google Wave looks to be a game-changing group collaboration technology. If you haven’t already watched the video from the Google I/O event earlier this year (caution, it’s long) you really should set aside some time to look into this, especially if your organization does a lot of [...]

Back in college I discovered this amazing acoustic guitar duo that toured regionally. My friends and I would drive all over the place following them into small music halls, bars, and college music festivals. The year before I graduated they put together a band and got even better. I followed [...]
